FeuerTrutz – The largest and most important interaction and knowledge platform for preventive fire protection in Europe
In 2024, the trade fair not only managed to increase the international share, but also showed continued growth, making it the largest event to date in terms of space. Trade fair participants were particularly impressed by the large number of innovations at the exhibitors’ stands, the comprehensive supporting programme as well as by the fire protection congress with its exciting expert discussions on current industry topics.
As a result, FeuerTrutz 2024 once again became an annual highlight for fire protection industry.

Programme highlights of 2024
In addition to the proven supporting programme items, there were of course also new highlights in 2024.
- The new format neext Future Forum gave visitors the opportunity to attend various panel discussions and workshops on the topic of fire safety in an increasingly urban and networked world.
- Following its successful launch at FeuerTrutz 2023, the Forum by asecos academy continued in 2024. In addition to a live experimental lecture, the focus was on topics such as handling lithium-ion batteries, fluorinated and fluorine-free foaming agents, fire protection in ventilation systems and fire protection through hot-dip galvanizing.
- The new seminar by asecos on “Safe handling of hazardous substances in the working environment” combined the in-depth expert knowledge with live experiments and practical tips.
- For the first time, the A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION forum featured four display areas from exhibitors, showcasing practical solutions in the field of digitalization.
- The spectacular fire protection demonstrations at the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE were of course also an absolute highlight in 2024!
- The pavilion startups@FeuerTrutz grew impressively from four to 15 exhibitors this year, demonstrating the innovative power of the industry.
- The fully booked FeuerTrutz After Work, held in the Max Morlock Stadium, was once again a popular way for guests to network in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Fire Protection Congress, organised by our partner RM Rudolf Müller Medien, focused on a number of topics, including the following questions:
- What is happening in building regulations?
- What are the risks from PV systems installed on roofs in Germany?
- How do you build safely and in compliance with the law using wood, even in Germany’s building class 5?
Participants also had the opportunity to discuss current challenges with the experts on site. In total, more than 1,300 participants (including 290 online) registered for the congress. The compact seminar "BRANDSCHUTZDIREKT Löschtechnik", in cooperation with the Federal Association for Technical Fire Protection (Bundesverband Technischer Brandschutz, bvfa), was also very well attended again with 90 registered participants.
